PART TIME DISHWASHER
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Food Service Worker assists with the preparation and service of food to patients, employees, and visitors. Helps maintain the cleanliness of utensils and equipment in the kitchen and service areas.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Must complete food handler certification within six (6) months of employment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Entry level position.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIREMENT: Ability to read and write. Follows safety and infection control guidelines and policies for the hospital and nursing home.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is inside. Visual and auditory acuity are necessary. Duties of the position require extended periods of walking and standing. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and be able to physically lift, push and pull minimum of fifty (50) pounds. The ability to comprehend and follow written or verbal instructions and directions.
